On September 28, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on the Recommendation of Industrial Internet Pilot Demonstration Projects in 2018, and carried out the recommendation of industrial Internet pilot demonstration projects in 2018. Focusing on the four directions of industrial Internet network, logo analysis, platform and security, we will select a number of pilot and demonstration projects for industrial Internet development, summarize and promote replicable experiences and practices, and promote the development of industrial Internet through pilot and demonstration leading.
It is proposed in the document that the pilot demonstration will focus on four industrial Internet integrated innovative applications, namely, the pilot demonstration project of integrated innovative application of network transformation, the pilot demonstration project of integrated innovative application of logo analysis, the pilot demonstration project of platform integrated innovative application, and the pilot demonstration of security integrated innovative application.
It is mentioned in the document that the enterprise network of industrial Internet will be established, and industrial Ethernet, industrial PON, industrial wireless, TSN and other technologies will be used to realize the interconnection of production equipment, instruments, sensors, control systems, management systems and other elements.
The concept of industrial Internet was put forward by General Electric Company (GE) in 2012. According to GE's definition, the so-called industrial Internet is a new network infrastructure that realizes the comprehensive interconnection of people, machines and things, forming a new business type and application mode of intelligent development.
In 2017, the scale of China's industrial Internet direct industry was about 90.3 billion US dollars (about 570 billion yuan). It is predicted that from 2017 to 2019, the industrial scale is expected to grow at an average annual growth rate of 18%. By 2020, the output value of industrial Internet will reach 225 billion US dollars (1420 billion yuan).
Industrial Internet includes intelligent machines, people at work and advanced analysis. Through the interconnection of equipment, people and data, the three processes are carried out in real time and in parallel. Data analysis synchronously reflects equipment status, controls equipment actions in real time, and precisely optimizes operation efficiency.
Therefore, accelerating the R&D and industrial development of automatic control and sensing technology is the basis for promoting the development of the industrial Internet. Promoting the R&D and mode innovation of high-precision sensors, intelligent instruments and meters has become an important development direction of the current industrial Internet.
