The International Consumer Electronics Show (CES2019) opened in Las Vegas on January 8. The four-day exhibition will be a place for professional exhibitors to show new products, and also a window for consumers to catch the new trend of international consumer electronics in advance.
Chinese enterprises show strength
According to the organizer, the number of Chinese exhibitors reached 1213, a fifth lower than the 1551 exhibitors in the previous exhibition. The Associated Press reported that the decrease in the number of small Chinese companies participating in the exhibition was due to the increase of booths by large companies.
Although the number of exhibitors has decreased, Chinese enterprises are still the focus of exhibitors. Chinese companies can be seen in such frontier fields as artificial intelligence, automatic driving, smart home, cloud computing and the Internet of Things. Alibaba, Baidu, Huawei, Jingdong, Meituan and many other large Chinese enterprises participated in the exhibition, demonstrating their latest technologies. CNN reported that Chinese enterprises, like many American companies, displayed a lot of innovative products at the exhibition, such as powerful camera lenses. I am afraid that even American sports camera manufacturer GoPro will have to bow down to the powerful camera lens.
